Norsk jazzforum is releasing their eighth edition of the triple promo-CD jazzCD.no at Nublu, New York.
With liner notes by author Ashely Kahn, the eight edition presents 43 Norwegian jazz acts with current and future recordings and projects for 2018. The CD-set contains music by acts such as Hanna Paulsberg, Rohey, Gard Nilssen´s Acoustic Unity, Ellen Andrea Wang, Bugge Wesseltoft and Nils Økland Band. The launching of the CD-set will happen at Nublu in New York during the Winter Jazzfest on January 13th, and is a joint venture with Nublu, Nasjonal jazzscene in Oslo, Music Norway and The Royal Norwegian Consulate General in New York.
JazzCDno is produced by Norsk jazzforum in close cooperation with Music Norway and The Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and distributed by Norsk jazzforum and through Norwegian embassies and consulate generals all over the world.
